Well, perhaps not quite yet, but the seeds of some good ideas are starting to bud at the ALL INN project. We have some really exciting events in the pipeline, including a co-design session on door handle openers with Doability. We’ll be working with product design students from Leeds Beckett University and people with reduced grip, and using a 3D printer to bring the product to life on the day. Continue reading
Last week the ALL INN project visited the IIC show at Manchester Central. The IIC show is a consumer and trade event actively promoting independence, inclusion and choice for people of mixed ability. This proved an excellent opportunity to find out about some of the innovative products coming to market.

The first ALL INN session took place on 27th January, with Buddi bringing along their classic and updated systems, and a new system currently in development for people at risk of type 2 diabetes.
We had a great turn out, with a mix of people with type 2 diabetes, specialist diabetes GP and Commissioning Manager for Adult Social care, as well as Telecare staff members and the Head of Assisted Living. Continue reading
