On Thursday 11th February the ALL INN project attended a seminar on wearables and innovation. It was held at the Yorkshire Post offices and sponsored by Leeds Beckett University.
As well as being an excellent networking opportunity there were interesting speakers from Premier Farnell and Leeds Beckett University talking about innovation in the wearables sector, the changing power across tech industries, financial support for corporate innovation, and the ethics behind sensors in the home. And if that wasn’t enough, there was a drone fitted with a heat-seeking camera to look at (but not fly, we didn’t have permission!).
