Well, perhaps not quite yet, but the seeds of some good ideas are starting to bud at the ALL INN project. We have some really exciting events in the pipeline, including a co-design session on door handle openers with Doability. We’ll be working with product design students from Leeds Beckett University and people with reduced grip, and using a 3D printer to bring the product to life on the day.
We’re planning a session to consult on unique mattresses to prevent pressure sores, and an app design session which could revolutionise Tele Care! If this wasn’t enough, a few more plans are starting to take shape, watch this space…
ALL INN will be hosting an event as part of Leeds Digital Festival with some high profile partners on 27th April. We will be displaying a smart house in the clinical skills suite at Leeds Beckett University, showing high-tech solutions to adapt homes, enabling independence and promoting safety.
