A demonstration of the high tech facilities at the Clinical Skills Suite
This week has been all go for the ALL INN project. The Naidex conference in Birmingham on Tuesday was an opportunity to meet organisations with innovative independent living and assistive technology products and services. This should lead to some exciting opportunities and projects, watch this space for more information!
Wednesday was the Digital Health Innovation showcase, held at Leeds Beckett University’s state of the art Clinical Skills Suite. Speakers from both IBM Watson and Current Care talked about application of the latest technology for both healthcare and more varied use, and Leeds Beckett had a speaker on Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and eligibility criteria for SMEs looking to enhance their business and employ a recent graduate.
The event drew a really varied crowd, including representatives from Leeds City Council, Healthwatch Leeds, William Merritt Disabled Living Centre, and many more besides.
Next week promises even more, with the door handle opener co-design session taking place with Doability on Wednesday, watch this space for full details and photos!
